What are nipple shields?

Nipple Shields are a non-piercing nipple adornment designed to enhance sensation in your nipple. They look sexy, feel great to wear and give you a fabulous erect nipple profile. The Nipple Shield does all of this by putting a little bit of pressure at the base of the nipple, thereby keeping the nipple erect.

 

You need to have an erect nipple to put the jewellery on. You can usually pop outside into the cold in the winter and do it instantly – or ice cubes might do the trick.

Did you know that Nipple Shields can be worn by both women and men? This means that sizing is important – there are five different hole sizes available, to suit a wide range of nipples. The Nipple Shields are also available in a variety of flange sizes (that’s the width of the metal bit). This is to create the look you want  – and because a different flange size may suit your shape of nipple.

Once your nipple is erect, place the shield over your nipple so that it is poking through the hole. Tease and tug your nipple through until the jewellery is sitting snugly at the base. You want to use some pressure so that a small amount of your areola is also through the hole. If you find your nipple does not poke through the hole easily you may need to use your thumb behind your breast to help get your nipple through.

Remember that your nipples become erect when aroused so keep that in mind. The jewellery keeps your nipple erect, and your nipple being erect is what holds the jewellery on. This enhanced nipple erection stimulates the nerve endings in the nipple  – and therefore enhances sensation!

Don’t be discouraged if you have a bit of difficulty putting the jewellery on. There’s a knack to it so you might have to practice a little. It’s not always easy to achieve erection, and then there’s performance anxiety! Also,  some nipples protrude a lot when erect so will be easier to put the shields on. If your nipples don’t protrude as much when erect you may have to be a little more patient, but do persevere as they feel great. You can wear Nipple Shields under lingerie or clothing and in or out of the bedroom.
